AML Policy and Exchange Order Reviews

xmr-exchange.org uses a risk-based approach to cryptocurrency exchange orders. An order created without a persistent trading account can still require review when a transaction raises a compliance concern.

When an Order May Be Reviewed

Review may be triggered by transaction patterns, sanctions indicators, suspected fraud, prohibited activity, inconsistent deposit details or other relevant risk signals. The fact that a token or network is available in the form does not override an individual order review.

A review can delay processing while the case is examined. The service may request information relevant to the transaction through its designated compliance channel.

Information and Possible Outcomes

Depending on the case, information may be requested to establish the origin or purpose of funds or the person controlling the transfer. Avoid sending documents or sensitive details through an unrelated channel; follow the instructions supplied for that order.

A reviewed order may proceed, remain on hold while information is assessed, be refused, or be handled under an applicable return process. The outcome depends on the transaction facts and the systems involved; a particular refund result is not promised here.

Prohibited Use and Customer Help

The service must not be used for unlawful transfers, fraud, sanctions evasion or other prohibited activity. Keep the asset, amount, source network and recipient details accurate when placing an order.

For a case-specific question, write to [email protected] and quote the order ID. General assistance is available through support; data handling is explained in the privacy policy.
