How XMR Exchanges Work Across Supported Networks
Choose an asset, direction and network before creating an order on xmr-exchange.org. A quote is tied to those selections and the amount you enter; changing the token or blockchain means you need a different route.
Select a Token and Network
For native BTC or ETH deposits, follow the network named on the order. USDT and USDC can exist on several chains, so the token in your wallet must match the selected source network and, where relevant, the exact token identity.
When you send XMR instead, the network decision moves to the receiving side. Choose a stablecoin route accepted by the destination wallet and confirm its network before entering the payout address.

Review the Quote and Receiving Address
The order quote shows the selected pair, amount to send, amount to receive and applicable network cost. Fixed mode carries a 0.8% service charge and a 12-minute rate window; floating carries 0.45% and determines the payout at execution. A reference market price is useful for comparison, but the order defines the transfer terms.
Check the full receiving address and network before proceeding. If a custodial platform imposes a deposit minimum or requires an additional field, review its instructions as well.

Send the Deposit and Follow Its Status
Create an order first, then use the deposit details generated for that order. The deposit asset, token network, amount and address must all match; details from an older order should not be reused.
- Send from the wallet that holds the correct asset and network.
- Save the order ID and the blockchain transaction hash.
- Wait for deposit detection and the confirmations required for the route.
- Track processing and the outgoing payout through the order status.
For an incoming Monero deposit, processing waits for 20 confirmations. A blockchain confirmation is an event on the source chain; the count alone does not establish that the exchange is complete or that the receiving wallet has credited the payout.

Handle a Different Amount or Wrong Network
If the sent amount differs from the order, the quoted payout may change. If a token was sent on the wrong network, do not submit another payment to the same address as a test.
Contact support with the order ID, transaction hash, asset and network. Any handling depends on the actual transaction and deposit system; a recovery or refund is never automatic.

Start an Exchange With the Correct Route
Select a supported route on the exchange screen, then read the order before transferring funds. For network-specific token questions, consult the USDT network guide or USDC token guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
The order status and support channel are the sources for a particular transfer. The answers below clarify stages that can otherwise look similar.
Does a fixed-rate window set the payout deadline?
No. It concerns the conditions under which a quote is held, if that mode is offered. Incoming confirmations and payout processing have their own timing.
Can I change the destination after creating an order?
Do not assume the address or network can be edited on an existing order. Contact support with the order ID before sending if the payout details are wrong.
What information helps support find a deposit?
Share the order ID, transaction hash, asset and sending network. Never disclose a wallet seed phrase or private key.
